AlUla marks Environment Week 2025

AlUla Governorate is celebrating Environment Week 2025, highlighting its unique environmental diversity, which is one of its key natural, economic, and tourism assets.
AlUla is known for its diverse terrain, including mountains, plains, oases, and valleys, making it home to a wide range of local wildlife and plants, some of which are rare and endangered.
The Royal Commission for AlUla (RCU) is making notable efforts to preserve this biodiversity through initiatives such as the environmental rebalancing program, habitat restoration projects, vegetation enhancement, and empowering nature rangers to monitor the governorate’s nature reserves.
