Six artists to look out for at the XP Music Futures

Returning for its 4th outing, XP Music Futures is set to begin on Dec. 5 in Riyadh. Here are six artists performing this year.

  • Bas

    French Sudanese rapper Bas has collaborated with some of the biggest artists in the rap game, such as J-Cole and Central Cee, and was nominated for two Grammy Awards.

  • Bombino

    Hailing from Niger, Bombino’s music spans different genres of saharan rock, blues and Tuareg music.

  • Bayou

    Egyptian R&B singer Bayou dropped his EP “Never At Home” in November and the singer is set to perform it in Riyadh. Bayou made history this year as the first Egyptian to perform at Coachella.

  • Gheistmusic

    German live band Gheistmusic is most renowned for their party anthems and crowd-shaking live sets.

  • Emel Mathlouthi

    Mathlouthi is best known for “Kelmti Horra,” which became the anthem for the Tunisian revolution during the Arab Spring. She released an album titled “MRA” earlier this year that featured an all-female team.

  • Zeyne

    Zeyne’s music offers a blend of traditional Arabic sound and R&B soul elements. The Jordanian-Palestinian singer recently performed at the Bottega Veneta show in Dubai.
