Saudi aid agency distributes food bags, hygiene kits in Syria

RIYADH: King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center distributed hundreds of food packages in Syria, the Saudi Press Agency reported on Saturday.

KSrelief handed out 1,699 food baskets and 1,699 health kits in the city of Tal Abyad in the Raqqa province, benefiting 10,194 individuals.

In Jandaris city of Aleppo Governorate, KSrelief 1,060 food parcels and 1,060 health bags, which benefited 6,360 individuals.

The Saudi aid agency earlier in the week also handed out 804 food packages and 804 hygiene kits in the same area for the benefit of 4,824 residents.

The program is the second phase of a distribution project to support those affected by the earthquake in northern Syria.
