NEW YORK: The Saudi aid agency KSrelief signed a cooperation agreement with the UN Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East on Monday on the sidelines of the 79th UN General Assembly in New York City.

The agreement was signed by Dr. Abdullah Al-Rabeeah, adviser at the Royal Court and general supervisor of KSrelief, and Philippe Lazzarini, commissioner-general of UNRWA.

Under this partnership, the organizations will collaborate on various humanitarian initiatives, sharing knowledge, field expertise, research and best practices.

The agreement includes cooperation on training, capacity building, media outreach and the implementation of volunteer medical projects such as surgeries, medical clinics and educational programs.
