RIYADH: British breeders Yas Falcons sold four birds on the 10th night of the 2024 International Falcon Breeders Auction, fetching a total of $66,400.
The auction featured leading breeding farms from 19 countries and took place at the Saudi Falcon Club’s headquarters in Malham, north of Riyadh.
The night began with the sale of a gyr taba chick for $10,666, followed by another which reached $14,133.
The evening continued with the sale a gyr shaheen chick for $20,266 and concluded with a second for which the bidding started at $10,666 and which eventually sold for $21,333.
This year’s International Falcon Breeders Auction continues until Saturday.
