KSrelief delivers critical aid to Yemen, Sudan, Lebanon

RIYADH: Saudi aid agency KSrelief has provided much-needed aid to those affected by crises and health challenges in Yemen, Sudan and Lebanon.

In Yemen’s Marib governorate, the organization’s Prosthetics and Rehabilitation Center Project delivered essential medical services to 521 displaced people and residents who had lost limbs, ranging from prosthetic fittings and rehabilitation to physical therapy and specialized consultations. 

KSrelief also responded to the recent devastating floods, distributing emergency shelter and food aid to 540 individuals in Al-Hudaydah governorate.

In the Hayran district of Hajjah Governorate, the aid agency’s emergency center for epidemic disease control provided medical care to 1,265 individuals between July 24 and 30. Services included pediatric care, internal medicine, epidemiology, laboratory support and medication distribution.

In addition, the Al-Ja’dah Health Center supported by KSrelief treated 1,893 patients during the same period, offering a wide range of medical services such as emergency care, internal medicine and obstetrics.

In Sudan, KSrelief distributed 858 shelter and personal care kits to displaced families as part of its Emergency Shelter Assistance Project, to the benefit of 2,467 people. In Lebanon, the aid agency continued its support for the Subul Al-Salam Social Association’s ambulance service, conducting 56 missions in collaboration with the municipality in Miniyeh.
