RIYADH: Members of the Saudi Arabian Scouts Association are taking part in the 43rd World Scout Conference which started in Cairo on Saturday.
The event, which continues until Aug. 23, is being hosted by the Egyptian Federation for Scouts and Girl Guides and includes over 2,000 members from 176 countries.
The conference will address a range of topics such as peace, sustainability, youth leadership, human rights and informal education, reported the Saudi Press Agency.
Its goal is to inspire the leadership of national scout associations through keynote speeches and workshop sessions.
The Saudi delegation is holding an exhibition to highlight the renaissance of scouting in the Kingdom. They will also present examples of Saudi customs and traditions on International Culture Exchange Day.
