Children with Disability Association launches new initiative in Al-Baha

AL-BAHA: The Children with Disability Association in Al-Baha has launched a new initiative, entitled “Integration and Empowerment,” in partnership with Al-Baha Municipality.

According to a statement, this initiative aims to “integrate, motivate, and engage children with disabilities with their peers, helping them reintegrate into society through recreational and social activities and events.”

Nujoud Al-Ghamdi, director of the association, said the initiative aims to strengthen cohesion and social communication between society and children with disabilities by “spreading joy and happiness.”

The initiative was launched on the opening day of the Baljurashi Front Festival and continued its programs at Bahjat Raghadan Park in Al-Baha.

Al-Ghamdi said the initiative has several key objectives: ensuring that children with disabilities obtain their rights, discovering their abilities and talents, improving their quality of life and mental health, and removing all challenges that hinder their integration into society.
