Saudi Minister of Communications and Information Technology Abdullah Al-Swaha recently met with the CEO of Meta Mark Zuckerberg during an official visit to the US.
According to a report by Saudi Press Agency, Al-Swaha’s visit aimed to enhance cooperation in the fields of AI and modern technologies, develop digital capabilities, and support developers and innovative solutions for leading companies.
The minister also met with Ruth Porat, president and chief investment officer of Alphabet and Google, to discuss opportunities for partnerships and cooperation in AI, data analysis, and cloud computing.
They also explored opportunities to enhance investment to support innovation and boost the Kingdom’s position in the tech sector.
Al-Swaha also met Jonathan Ross, the CEO and founder of Groq Inc. and discussed ways to enhance cooperation in advanced technologies and focused on developing artificial intelligence solutions to support innovations in various fields.
Separately, his deputy minister Haitham Al-Ohali met with First Spark Ventures’ Managing Partner Manish Kothari and General Partner Danny Chen to enhance investment in innovation, deep technologies, and artificial intelligence.
