RIYADH: Saudi Arabia has seen over 18 million parcel deliveries completed by more than 70 licensed companies as of the 25th of Ramadan, according to recent data.
Figures released by the Transport General Authority indicate a 54 percent surge compared to Ramadan figures reported in 2023, the Saudi Press Agency reported.
This increase in numbers aligns with the organization’s goal to develop transportation infrastructure, aiming to position the Kingdom as a pivotal logistics hub connecting three continents.
It also corresponds well with its objective of fostering sustainable economic growth and competitiveness, in line with the targets outlined in Saudi Vision 2030, and coordinates with the authority’s mission to achieve integration between all transport sectors, including land, maritime, and air.
This will ensure that the Kingdom meets its needs for raising safety and energy rationalization levels, enhancing operational and performance efficiency, and providing seamless services to all beneficiaries.
