DUBAI: Iraqi model and influencer Dima Sheikhly has collaborated with US label Michael Kors and Italian label Prada, adding the brands to her portfolio of luxury advertorials.
The model, who is based in Dubai, shared pictures of the Michael Kors campaign with her 929,000 Instagram followers. In the visuals, she can be seen sporting a kaftan maxi dress crafted from crinkled georgette.
The ensemble featured a detachable chain belt adorned with gold-tone buttons.
In another shot, Sheikhly wowed in the same dress, this time in a striking blue hue. She complemented her attire with a two-toned blue purse featuring the brand’s iconic initial-based logo.
The model showed off a metal-plated brass and acetate logo necklace and earrings set.
In addition to her work with Michael Kors, Sheikhly teamed up with Prada this week. She took to Instagram to showcase the Italian luxury label’s Re-Nylon Bag in a blue colorway.
She paired the bag with a black short sleeved Prada dress.
“Prada’s Re-Nylon is regenerated nylon created through the recycling and purification of plastic collected from the ocean,” Sheikhly captioned her post.
Syrian Olympic swimmer Yusra Mardini was also part of the Prada campaign. She shared pictures of herself wearing the Re-Nylon Bag last week, but in a brown tone.
In March, Sheikhly was also part of a Boss campaign alongside Australian Lebanese model Jessica Kahawaty.
Sheikhly shared polaroid-style pictures from the shoot and wrote: “Double B, Every Me. Because there’s more than one way to be a BOSS.”
In the images, she wore a white shirt, complemented by a white bag adorned with a chunky silver buckle and chain. In another picture, she wore a white cap with the brand’s logo in the center.
Boss released similar images of other A-list stars including US singer Demi Lovato, British model Jourdan Dunn, Bollywood star Sonam Kapoor, Colombian singer and songwriter Maluma, South Korean actor Jeon Changha and Canadian Belgian racing driver Lance Stroll.
In 2021, Sheikhly and Egyptian actress Salma Abu Deif starred in a campaign by Italian fashion house Valentino to promote the brand’s Rockstud Alcove handbag.
The Arab stars were featured in the campaign alongside the likes of US singer and TikTok star Dixie D’Amelio and German blogger Leonie Hanne.
