RIYADH: The Saudi minister of education, Yousef Al-Benyan, and the Kingdom’s ambassador to the US, Princess Reema bint Bandar, on Tuesday discussed the changing face of education, and ways to enhance cooperation between the US and Saudi Arabia in the fields of general and university education, research and innovation.

During a meeting in Riyadh they reviewed existing educational joint projects and agreements between the countries.

They also explored ways in which American investors and education businesses might be encouraged to participate in the sector in the Kingdom to enhance its quality, ensure it meets the needs of the labor market, and is best placed to help achieve the goals of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 national development and diversification plan, the Saudi Press Agency reported.
