In addition to fostering cultural understanding, the event aimed to alleviate any sense of alienation among Saudi male and female scholarship students, providing them with an opportunity to celebrate the spirit of Ramadan in their host country.

The event aimed to provide a realistic portrayal of Ramadan in the Kingdom, including customs such as meals specially prepared for the holy month, as well as offering insight into the accompanying activities and traditions.

Mufarrej bin Dhafer Al-Subai’i, the association’s president, said that the event was attended by representatives from the cultural attache of the Saudi Embassy, along with university officials, faculty members, and guests from the Gulf, Arab and Islamic nations.
