RIYADH: Saudi Arabia has condemned Israel’s seizing of 800 hectares of Palestinian land in the West Bank, the Saudi Press Agency said early Wednesday.
The Kingdom said that the move is a blatant violation of relevant international laws and is an extension of the brutal practices of the Israeli occupation’s forced settlement operations, a foreign ministry statement read.
“The Kingdom affirms that the continued Israeli violation of the rules of international law and legitimacy resolutions without deterrence weakens the credibility of the international system and undermines the chances of a just and sustainable peace based on the two-state solution,” the statement said.
Saudi Arabia renewed its call on the international community to immediately stop the systematic Israeli settlers' violations and return confiscated Palestinian lands.
