RIYADH: The Saudi Arabian Society for Culture and Arts launched the third Ramadan Nights Festival on Wednesday, the Saudi Press Agency reported.
The festival is taking place at the same time as the Saudi Table Tennis Federation’s third community tournament in the Al-Ma’athar neighborhood of Riyadh.
Boasting a warm Ramadan atmosphere, the festival focuses on customs associated with the holy month to make the event a vibrant one, showcasing the aesthetics and essence of Saudi culture.
The society is stressing the Kingdom’s past, identity and heritage at the event. This was highlighted at the launch by the costumes and cultures present.
A space has been allocated at the festival for amateur participants in fine arts, while various performances will be taking place.
The Ramadan Nights Festival continues until March 29, from 10 p.m. until 1 a.m.
