RIYADH: Saudi Arabia’s aid agency KSrelief has distributed 500 food parcels for 3,000 vulnerable people in Oueme, Benin, as part of the Ramadan Etaam project in the country.
KSrelief aims to distribute 5,930 food packages that would benefit 35,580 needy people during the holy month, the Saudi Press Agency reported on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, KSrelief’s Department of Partnerships and International Relations Director Hana Omar met Tuesday with German Federal Foreign Office Director-General for Crisis Prevention, Stabilization, Peace Building, and Humanitarian Assistance Deike Potzel on the sidelines of the European Humanitarian Forum in Brussels.
During the meeting, they discussed the current challenges faced by humanitarian agencies and how to enhance their work.
