RIYADH: Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Culture has launched a new platform designed to immerse users in the rich tapestry of the Kingdom’s cultural heritage.
Powered by metaverse technology, “Cultural Universe” invites visitors to travel through the timeline of Saudi history from its inception in 1727 to the present day, Saudi Press Agency reported.

It offers a comprehensive exploration of cultural dimensions including the arts, architecture, design, heritage, theater, cinema, cuisine, libraries, visual arts and literature.
Users can customize their experience according to their individual preferences, selecting avatars and adjusting graphics and language settings.
They can also learn about the Ministry of Culture and its affiliated entities, learning about the dedication to conserving and championing the Kingdom’s cultural heritage.
