RIYADH: Saudi Arabia’s Tadawul All Share Index concluded Wednesday’s trading session at 12,723.15 points, marking an increase of 109.21 points or 0.87 percent.
MSCI Tadawul 30 Index also increased by 6.27 points to finish at 1,605.34, a 0.39 percent climb.
The parallel market, Nomu, closed the day at 26,680.90 points, reflecting an increase of 234.31 or 0.89 percent.
TASI reported a trading volume of SR11.38 billion ($3.03 billion), with 166 stocks gaining and 52 losing steam.
The best-performing stock of the day was Saudi Chemical Co., whose share price surged 10 percent to SR7.06.
The second top performer was Amana Cooperative Insurance Co., whose share price soared 9.93 percent to SR16.38.
Other gainers include Arabian Contracting Services Co. and Saudi Enaya Cooperative Insurance Co. as their share prices increased by 9.92 percent and 9.39 percent to SR252.60 and SR21.44, respectively.
The worst performer was AYYAN Investment Co., whose share price dropped by 2.18 percent to SR13.12. Saudi Steel Pipe Co. also did not perform well as its share price decreased by 5.49 percent to reach SR24.24.
On the parallel market, Nomu, International Human Resources Co. emerged as the top gainer, with its share price soaring by 12.98 percent to SR4.70.
Other gainers include Lana Medical Co. and Watani Iron Steel Co., as their share prices increased by 7.89 percent and 7.02 percent to SR41 and SR3.05, respectively.
Quara Finance Co. was the major loser on Nomu, as the company’s share price slipped 17.45 percent to SR17.22.
Other worst performers included Mulkia Investment Co. and Arabian Plastic Industrial Co., whose share prices shed by 9.89 percent and 9.66 percent, respectively.
