Saudi Arabia’s KSrelief sends food to thousands in Sudan

RIYADH: Saudi Arabia’s aid agency KSrelief distributed 1,900 food parcels in Sudan on Wednesday.

The organization handed out 1,160 food parcels to displaced families in White Nile State, benefiting 6,670 people, the Saudi Press Agency reported.

And in Sennar State 689 food parcels were distributed to displaced families, benefiting 3,858 people.

The Kingdom’s aid missions were discussed at a meeting on Wednesday in Riyadh between Aqeel bin Jamaan Al-Ghamdi, KSrelief’s assistant supervisor-general for planning and development, and Sylvain Astier, Switzerland’s special envoy for the Horn of Africa.
