RIYADH: The Governor of Hail Prince Abdulaziz bin Saad bin Abdulaziz will patronize the closing ceremony of the Hail Toyota International Rally 2024 tomorrow at Al-Maghwah Entertainment Park.
During the ceremony, this year’s champion will be crowned, as well as the winners of various car and motorcycle categories of the rally.
The governor, who is chairman of the Hail Region Development Authority and the supreme committee of the Hail Toyota International Rally, will also honor the heads of the rally’s organizing committees and sponsors.
The deputy governor of Hail, Prince Faisal bin Fahd bin Muqrin bin Abdulaziz, will also attend the ceremony, alongside the vice president of the region’s development authority, Prince Khalid bin Sultan bin Abdullah bin Faisal, who is also vice chair of the rally’s supreme committee and president of the Saudi Automobile and Motorcycle Federation.
The rally, in its 19th edition, featured 164 racers and navigators in cars and motorcycles from 24 nationalities, including international and local rally champions and motorcycle champions. There were 97 cars participating and 25 racers in the motorcycle category, including six in the quad motorcycle category.
The Hail Toyota International Rally 2024 is the first round of the 2024 World Rally Cup’s Baja category, the first round of the 2024 Middle East Rally Championship, and part of the Saudi Toyota 2024 Championship. The rally started yesterday with the participation of 34 international cars and drivers, 22 cars with local drivers, 22 international motorcycles and one local rider.
