DUBAI: Google has launched a new short video series to answer the most-searched questions about artificial intelligence on Google by users in the Middle East and North Africa.

Titled “Googleyat,” the six-episode Arabic series is hosted by Saudi content creator Abdullah Al-Alawi and features Google experts including Mehdi Ghissassi, director of product management at Google DeepMind.

Arabic queries about AI rose significantly in the last 12 months in the MENA region, and many were related to AI’s daily practical uses, according to Google.

Through the new series, Google aims to address some of these queries with episodes focusing on the most-searched questions.

These include topics such as generative AI, the difference between AI and machine learning, data protection when using AI, and the use of AI for learning, productivity and creativity.

The first episode of “Googleyat” is now available on Google Arabia’s channels on YouTube, Instagram and X, as well as Al-Alawi’s channels on YouTube, Instagram and TikTok. New episodes will be released every week.
