Under the terms of the deal, the services will include digitalizing finance, supply chain, and human capital management, according to a statement.

This move will help the Kingdom’s second flag carrier develop a modern, scalable, and secure business platform to enable data-driven decision-making, reduce costs, enhance employee engagement, and facilitate procurement processes.

“Riyadh Air aims to disrupt the future of air travel, and as part of our vision, we need to be at the forefront of innovation and technology,” said Adam Boukadida, the company’s chief financial officer.

Boukadida added that a key part of this approach is to partner with world-class experts as the firm builds technical capabilities to deliver a seamless digital-first experience to its guests.

“Riyadh Air represents the true ambition, capability, and global outlook of Saudi Arabia. The Kingdom’s aviation sector is rapidly expanding, and Riyadh Air will play a vital role in helping Saudi Arabia achieve its 2030 aviation goals that aim to outpace global growth,” said Reham Al-Musa, vice president of Cloud Applications in Saudi Arabia and managing director at Oracle.

Riyadh Air has chosen Tech Mahindra as the implementation partner for this initiative. The Indian tech company specializes in providing digital transformation, consulting, and business re-engineering services and solutions.

“In the era of digitalization, industries demand innovative solutions for enhanced efficiency and customer experiences,” said Vikram Nair, president of EMEA Business at Tech Mahindra.

He emphasized the company’s dedication to advancing Saudi Arabia’s digital future through the provision of cutting-edge solutions.
