RIYADH: The foreign ministers of Saudi Arabia and Bahrain met in Riyadh on Monday ahead of the third meeting of the Saudi-Bahraini Coordination Council, the Kingdom’s foreign ministry said.
Prince Faisal bin Farhan and Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani chaired a preparatory committee meeting and reviewed the latest developments in the council’s work.
They also discussed updates on the outputs of the council’s subcommittees and aspects of bilateral and multilateral coordination on issues of common interest.
The council meeting will take place on Wednesday and will be chaired by the crown princes of both countries, Bahrain News Agency reported.
