Saudi Shoura Council speaker meets Bangladesh’s president

Bangladesh’s president Mohammed Shahabuddin on Thursday received speaker of the Saudi Shoura Council Sheikh Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al Al-Sheikh at the presidential headquarters in Dhaka.

Al-Sheikh is on an official visit to the south Asian country.  

Shahabuddin welcomed Al-Sheikh and the accompanying delegation, noting the great efforts made by Saudi Arabia under the leadership of King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman in serving the Two Holy Mosques and their visitors, praising the Kingdom’s significant role as a leading country in the Islamic world and globally.

For his part, Al-Sheikh thanked Shahabuddin for the warm welcome and hospitality.

The attendees included members of the Shoura council accompanying Al-Sheikh, Khaled bin Mohammed Al-Bawardi and Dr. Khaled bin Mohammed Al-Saif, and the Saudi ambassador to Bangladesh, Issa bin Youssef Al-Duhailan.
