RIYADH: The Saudi International Handicrafts Week exhibition, which is also known as Banan, recently secured a silver award in the Interior Design category of the International Corporate and Commercial section of the Paris Design Awards.
The handicrafts event, which was organized by Saudi Arabia’s Heritage Commission, had taken place in June. Its aim was to foster cultural and handicraft exchanges among participating nations, while also showcasing the rich and diverse cultural tapestry of the Kingdom.
The exhibition was particularly focused on preserving and integrating traditional handcrafts into contemporary lifestyles.

It received praise in Paris for its exceptional display quality, the creative use of colors, and the overall visual appeal of the pieces presented.
