RIYADH: Saudi Arabia condemned and denounced a terrorist attack on a military base in northeastern Jordan that killed three American troops, the Kingdom’s foreign ministry said on Monday.
US President Joe Biden said “radical Iran-backed militant groups operating in Syria and Iraq” were behind the strike on the frontier base in Jordan’s northeast.
The attack on Sunday was the first deadly strike against US troops since the Israel-Hamas war erupted in October.
