RIYADH: KSrelief launched Al-Amal Charitable Bakery Project in Akkar Governorate, Lebanon, Saudi Press Agency reported on Saturday.
The project distributed 25,000 bags of bread to families in northern Lebanon, including Syrians, Palestinians, and host community residents as part of Saudi Arabia’s humanitarian efforts to aid refugees.
KSrelief also funded the Ambulance Service of Subul Al-Salam Social Society in Miniyah, northern Lebanon, which conducted 56 missions last week, supporting ambulance services and transportation in refugee areas and host communities.
KSrelief provided relief assistance to Palestinians in Gaza through food basket distribution in Rafah city. The initiative is part of Saudi Arabia’s campaign to support the Palestinian people in Gaza.
In Yemen, KSrelief distributed 3,000 cartons of dates in Al-Dhale Governorate, benefiting 18,000 individuals as part of the 2024 Date Distribution Project to support food security in the country.
A KSrelief team visited the Kidney Dialysis Center in Al-Ghaydah District, Yemen, assessing operations and commending the center’s service. They emphasized the need for awareness campaigns to prevent kidney failure, part of Saudi Arabia’s humanitarian projects in Yemen.
Mobile medical clinics in Hajjah Governorate, Yemen, provided services to 2,197 beneficiaries in December. Services included for epidemiological diseases, emergencies, internal medicine, reproductive health clinics, nursing services, waste disposal activities, medicine dispensing, and surgery and wound dressing clinics.
