- Crown prince thanked the team for their significant humanitarian contributions
LONDON: Jordan’s Crown Prince Hussein bin Abdullah visited personnel from the Jordanian field hospital, team Gaza/76, on Thursday in Amman, Jordan News Agency reported.
The team recently returned from the Gaza Strip after the transition of duties to their successors, team Gaza/77.
During his visit, the crown prince relayed greetings from King Abdullah, who expressed his pride in their efforts over the past months.
Crown Prince Hussein thanked the team for their significant humanitarian contributions, with special mention of the female personnel’s efforts during the challenging circumstances in Gaza. He emphasized Jordan’s commitment to supporting the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.
Gaza/76 Commander Col. Thaer Al-Khatib highlighted the dedication and hard work of the hospital’s staff during their deployment in the northern Gaza Strip.
Speakers from the hospital’s personnel said that the support from King Abdullah and Crown Prince Hussein, who continuously followed up on the staff’s conditions, boosted their morale and enabled them to provide the highest standard of medical services to the Palestinians.
