LONDON: The Riyadh-based Thaqafiya channel has secured exclusive rights to broadcast three of the most prestigious cinema and television awards in the Middle East in 2024.
The awards ceremonies will include the Golden Globes, the Emmys, and the Academy Awards — known as the Oscars.
Coverage will begin on Jan. 7 with the 81st Golden Globe Awards broadcast from Beverly Hills, California.
Thaqafiya will broadcast live, and exclusively, the 75th Emmy Awards ceremony from Los Angeles on Jan. 15 and the 96th Academy Awards ceremony on March 10 from the Dolby Theater in Hollywood.
