Khloud Al-Tamimi has been CEO of Mawaddah Development Association since 2016. The association is dedicated to education, training, guidance, reform, and family awareness through sustainable development initiatives.
As CEO, Al-Tamimi has spearheaded numerous initiatives and reforms, including the establishment of internal systems encompassing regulations, policies, governance, and operations.
She led the association’s digital-transformation efforts, earning ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 certifications. Al-Tamimi applied institutional frameworks and sustainability standards, including the Global Reporting Initiative. She developed comprehensive strategies with key performance indicators and impact assessments, along with establishing robust follow-up systems and departments.
Al-Tamimi played a pivotal role in forming the technology and innovation department, implementing quality systems, and enhancing financial operations through meticulous budgeting and banking agreements. She also helped establish the Mawaddah Research Center for Social and Humanitarian Studies.
She has over a decade of experience of business strategy, operations management, and organizational development at national firms. Her track record includes driving profitable expansion, increasing employee engagement, and fostering retention. She identifies growth opportunities and sets ambitious yet achievable strategic goals.
She is also a founding member of the Cooperative Lawyers Association and the Aman Association, as well as a member of other community-support organizations, including the Family Affairs Council and the National Council for Family Development Associations.
Prior to her current role, Al-Tamimi served as the general manager of the women’s investments department at the Council of Saudi Chambers, where she established internal systems and designed a pioneering businesswomen’s program. She also contributed to Kingdom Company’s AEM projects and sales development department from 2006 to 2009.
In 2019, Al-Tamimi participated in the Saudi C20 and W20 boot camps in Riyadh and represented the Saudi delegation at the Ministry of Justice in the US. Her international engagements include participation in UN conferences in Lebanon and Switzerland.
Al-Tamimi holds a bachelor’s degree in English translation from King Saud University and earned a master’s in business administration from Carlfield University in the US. She recently completed the general management program from Harvard Business School.
