JEDDAH: The King Salman International Complex for the Arabic Language has launched a new platform dedicated to linguistic blogs.
Known as Falak, the service comprises three blogs, covering the complex itself, Arabic books and one for Arabic learners. The number of blogs is set to increase to 10 by the end of March.
Designed to be a resource for researchers, the service also offers a range of data analysis tools.
Abdullah bin Saleh Al-Washmi, secretary-general of the complex, said the facility was engaged in various efforts to promote the Arabic language, including linking it to computing, technology and artificial intelligence.
The platform, which took 18 months to develop, will provide AI experts with the tools as well as being a valuable resource for language enthusiasts, he said.
