RIYADH: More than 90,000 visitors have attended the third edition of the exhibition “Jusoor” (“Bridges”), which opened on Dec. 13 and concluded in Morocco on Sunday, the Saudi Press Agency reported on Monday.
Organized by the Saudi Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance in cooperation with Morocco’s Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs, the exhibition was held at the Hassan II Mosque in Casablanca.
The ministry said that this year, visitors had the opportunity to learn about the Kingdom’s efforts in serving Islam, the Two Holy Mosques and pilgrims, as well as its care for the Qur’an through the King Fahd Complex for the Printing of the Holy Qur’an.
Visitors were also able to make virtual visits to the Grand Mosque in Makkah using virtual reality technology and view rare Islamic manuscripts.
The event also featured informational corners, introducing attendees to Saudi coffee and Arabic calligraphy.
