- Level 2 means the airport has a clear customer experience plan managed by a professional team
RIYADH: King Khalid International Airport has been awarded level 3 customer experience accreditation by the Airport Council International, according to its operator, Riyadh Airports Co.
The airport is part of the ACI World’s Airport Customer Experience Accreditation program and achieved level 2 status earlier in the year.
Level 2 means the airport has a clear customer experience plan managed by a professional team, while level 3 indicates it has implemented a more advanced strategy, according to the ACI’s website.
As well as providing a benchmark for measuring the customer experience, the accreditation program offers training opportunities for staff.
Certificates are granted to airports that communicate with customers on issues of service quality and work to develop and improve the traveler experience.
