RIYADH: The Zakat, Tax, and Customs Authority has foiled a plan to smuggle more than 117,000 Captagon pills and 6,000 grams of crystal methamphetamine into the country.
The drugs were hidden in two trucks at Al-Haditha and Al-Batha.
The authority, which was working with the General Directorate of Narcotics Control, said there had been three arrests in relation to the seizure of the drugs.
The authority has called on the public to help combat smuggling by getting in touch with relevant information by phoning 1910, or by emailing 1910@zatca.gov.sa.
