Falah Al-Daham Al-Oniz has been the chief shared services officer at Jeeny, the leading ride-hailing app in the Middle East, since September 2020.
With more than 26 years of experience in human resources, administration, government relations, and shared services operations, Al-Oniz oversees complex transformation initiatives and drives sustainable change by leveraging proficiency in change management, process improvement, and technology.
His role involves designing and executing shared service models, spanning finance, HR, information technology, and procurement, and he has been successful in boosting service delivery and accelerating value creation.
As a mentor and team leader, he aims to build high-performing teams, foster collaboration, and steer a culture of continuous improvement.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, he was able to lead the company through the challenge with strategy and resilience. He also spearheaded a major business transformation, shifting the company entirely from a ride-hailing app to a delivery service, ensuring its sustainability.
Under his leadership, the company quickly adapted to the complex transformation of operations, managed its workforce, revamped its technology platforms, and reoriented customer service to focus on delivery services.
Prior to his current role, Al-Oniz was vice president of HR at Jeeny for eight years. He further fortified his experience as an HR and business support manager at SAMACO Motors for two years, from 2013 to 2015.
Previously, he was the business support and HR director at Fujitsu after years of service as a manager in the same field, from 2009 to 2013.
His professional career kicked off at NOVIAcom, where he was the government relations manager for three years.
He earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration and management from King Abdulaziz University, an HR diploma from Al-Yamamah University, and a master’s degree in HR management from California Creek University in 2017.
Al-Oniz is pursuing an executive master’s course in business administration and management from Al-Yamamah University.
He holds a professional administration consultant certificate from the Ministry of Commerce and several HR and administration certificates, including from the HR Summit and Expo, Human Resource Management Institute, and Society for Human Resource Management.
