RIYADH: A 21st Saudi plane carrying aid for Gaza on Monday took off from King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh.

The Gaza relief operation is being coordinated by the Saudi aid agency KSrelief, with Al-Arish International Airport in Egypt acting as the transit point.

The latest plane was loaded with a range of essential supplies, including 39 tons of food and shelter materials.

The first aid ship for Gaza, carrying 1,050 tons of food, shelter, and medical supplies, reached Port Said in Egypt, on Nov.24.

The aid is being delivered into Gaza through the Rafah crossing.

Rafah, overseen by Egypt, is the only crossing into Gaza not controlled by Israel.

KSrelief has finalized four cooperation agreements with international organizations to provide relief worth $40 million for Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.

Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Rabeeah, adviser at the Royal Court and KSrelief supervisor-general, concluded the agreements with the UN agency for Palestinian refugees UNRWA, the World Health Organization, the International Committee of the Red Cross, and the World Food Programme.
