RAFAH: Saudi Arabia’s aid agency KSrelief sent aid convoys carrying food, medical and shelter aid into Gaza through the Rafah crossing on Sunday.

On Sunday morning, 20 planes carrying the supplies arrived in Al-Arish airport in Egypt. The aid was then transferred to several trucks in a bid to unload them at the Palestinian side of the Rafah crossing.

The United Nations said the truce between Israel and Hamas has made it possible to scale up the delivery of food, water, and medicine to the largest volume since the start of the war. It was also able to fuel for the first time since the war began, and to reach areas in the north for the first time in a month.
