RIYADH: Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University in Riyadh and the University of Aberdeen in Scotland have signed an agreement to increase cooperation.
The deal, signed this week during the Going Global 2023 conference in Edinburgh, will focus on educational partnerships, collaborative research ventures, academic cooperation, student exchange programs and initiatives involving visiting faculty.
Dr. Inas bint Suleiman Al-Issa, president of Princess Nourah University, said the program aimed to strengthen cooperation between the two institutions in various fields.
During her conference presentation, titled “Engaging Employers with Students and the Curriculum,” Al-Issa gave an insight into some of the collaborative projects adopted by the university that are designed to foster creativity and innovation.
The Going Global conference, launched by the British Council in 2004, provides a platform for education leaders from around the world to connect, exchange knowledge and build networks.
