RIYADH: The Zakat, Tax, and Customs Authority issued a call on Monday to businesses falling under value-added tax regulations — with annual supplies exceeding SR40 million ($10 million) — to submit their tax returns for the month of October by no later than Nov. 30.
Establishments are encouraged to fulfill this obligation through the official website zatca.gov.sa or via the authority’s mobile application, ZATCA.
Failure to comply within the specified timeframe may result in fines ranging from a minimum of 5 percent to a maximum of 25 percent of the declared tax value.
To facilitate the process and address any inquiries, the authority has established a 24/7 unified call center reachable by phone on 19993.
Additionally, businesses seeking further information on value-added tax can reach out to the “Ask Zakat, Tax, and Customs” account on the platform (@Zatca_Care).
