RIYADH: The second and third Saudi relief plane arrived at El-Arish International Airport in Egypt on Friday, carrying on board 70 tons of relief and humanitarian aid including food and shelter items for the people in Gaza strip.

The planes, each carrying 35 tons of aid, are part of the Saudi popular campaign to help the Palestinian people in Gaza and was launched under the directives of King Salman and Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman.

The aid is in keeping with the historical role of the Kingdom in supporting Palestinians in times of crises and tribulations.
