RIYADH: More than 350 companies and 1,300 visitors attended the inaugural Suppliers and Manufacturers of Auto Parts and Components exhibition, which ended on Friday.
Organized by the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources, Ministry of Investment and the National Industrial Development Center, the event was held at King Abdullah Economic City in Rabigh.
As well as companies involved in the automotive industry supply chain there were representatives from the petrochemical, mining, tire, logistics and financial sectors.
Several government bodies also took park in the exhibition, which had the slogan “Driving Toward 2030” to reflect its alignment with the Kingdom’s Saudi Vision 2030 initiative.
The event also featured a number of workshops and discussions on the future of the auto parts and components industry.
