ARAB NEWS: Al-Nassr maintained their lead at the top of the Saudi Women’s Premier League after a 3-0 home win over Eastern Flames on Friday night.

The Riyadh club are now the only team in the competition with a perfect record, having claimed nine points from three matches.

Al-Nassr’s goals came from Maysa Ziad in the 45th minute and a quick-fire double from Clara Luvanga on 52 minutes and again four minutes later.

In Friday’s other match, Al-Ittihad defeated hosts Al-Shabab 1-0 to stay in second place with seven points.

On Saturday night, Al-Hilal won 4-0 at Al-Riyadh for their first victory of the season. The result means they climb to third in the table with four points.

In the last match of the weekend, Al-Ahli and Al-Qadisiyah drew 0-0 to leave them in fourth and fifth positions in the table, each with three points.
