Saudi, Romanian FMs discuss danger of continued military escalation in Gaza

RIYADH: Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan spoke with his Romanian counterpart Luminita Odobescu on Wednesday about the dangers of Israel’s intensifying military operations in Gaza, Saudi Press Agency reported.
During the phone call, the ministers reaffirmed the need to prevent the violence from escalating to a wider regional conflict.
The two also reviewed ways to bolster communication amongst the international community in order to find a just and comprehensive peace plan that guarantees the rights of the Palestinian people and alleviates the humanitarian crisis in Gaza by ensuring a steady flow of relief aid and medical equipment into the territory.
In addition, Prince Faisal and Odobescu discussed relations between their countries and ways to strengthen them.
