RIYADH: Saudi Arabia’s Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan met with his Dutch counterpart Hanke Bruins Slot on the sidelines of a UN Security Council meeting on the Middle East and the Palestinian question on Tuesday.

During the meeting, the two ministers discussed developments in the situation in Gaza and its surroundings and international efforts made to stop the military escalation.

They also discussed the importance of opening safe corridors for the entry of medical and food aid for civilians in compliance with international laws and humanitarian principles.

Prince Faisal reiterated the Kingdom’s call on the international community to find a peaceful solution to the crisis that will stop the recurring cycle of violence in the region, end the bloodshed, and establish peace for the Palestinian people.
