RIYADH: On his departure from New Delhi after an official visit to India, Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman on Monday sent a telegram of thanks to prime minister Narendra Modi.
The prince had also been in India to attend the G20 Summit.
The Kingdom was working to implement an economic corridor with India and the project requires diligent work to achieve, the crown prince said during the joint Saudi-Indian Strategic Partnership Council meeting in New Delhi on Monday.

His Excellency Mr. Narendra Modi, Prime Minister of the Republic of India, greetings.
As I leave your friendly country, I am pleased to express to your country my great gratitude and appreciation for the warm reception and hospitality I and the accompanying delegation received.
The official discussions that I held with your country have confirmed the strength of the solid relations between our two countries, and the importance of working to strengthen the strategic partnership in all fields, in a manner that serves the interests of our two friendly countries and peoples.
I commend the positive results we reached during the meeting of the Saudi-Indian Strategic Partnership Council, which will have a significant impact on cooperation between our two countries.
I also commend the positive results reached during your country’s presidency of the summit of the G20 leaders, stressing the importance of the decisions issued by it, which we hope will contribute significantly to supporting cooperation between the countries of the group and enhancing the growth rates of the global economy.
I wish your country health and happiness, and your country and the friendly Indian people continued progress and prosperity.
