NEW DELHI: The Saudi Ministry of Sports is participating in a special pavilion as part of the Kingdom’s participation in the G20 summit in New Delhi.

The pavilion welcomes visitors and guests in the “Media Oasis,” organized by the Ministry of Media, until Sept. 11 with the participation of government and private entities, according to a media statement.

The pavilion includes several sections that showcase international events hosted by the Kingdom in the past, as well as a section highlighting upcoming sports events such as the 2027 Asia Cup and the 2029 Trojena Asian Winter Games.

It also includes a section showing the activities of the Saudi Sports Federation for All, the Digital Stadiums initiative, as well as a section dedicated to sports investment and its active role in contributing to the growth of the local economy in general and the sports sector in particular.

The purpose of setting up the pavilion is to highlight the developmental role achieved by the sports sector in the Kingdom during the past period and to showcase the impact of this development on increasing the participation rate in sports, in line with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.

Additionally, it aims to highlight various aspects of sports investment and the participation of the private sector and investors.
