JEDDAH: The Madinah International Art Symposium, organized by the Madinah Arts Center, began on Aug. 11.
More than 225 artists from the Kingdom and overseas are participating in the event, with over 700 artworks on display.

The event features workshops, seminars, exhibitions, and cultural tours, offering local and international artists an opportunity to exchange valuable experiences.
Additionally, the symposium “aims to highlight the interconnection between art and society, emphasizing their mutual influence and inspiration on each other,” according to the SPA.
Fawzan stressed the importance of such events, saying that they “enrich the cultural landscape,” and noted their potential to “enhance Madinah’s cultural scene and contribute to the broader creative economy, involving residents and individuals from various regions.”
