RIYADH: The Riyadh 2023 World Combat Games kick off in 90 days.

The multi-sport event, which includes 16 different martial arts, is billed as the first of its kind in the Middle East. It will run from Oct. 20-30 at King Saud University Sports City in Riyadh, with more than 2,500 athletes from over 80 countries competing.

The featured martial arts are aikido, armwrestling, boxing, fencing, judo, ju-jitsu, karate, kendo, kickboxing, Muay Thai, sambo, savate, sumo, taekwondo, wrestling, and wushu.

The World Combat Games will also include an exhibition zone where young fans will have the opportunity to try their hand at a variety of martial arts during sessions with trainers and competitors from international federations.
