Republic of Congo expresses support for Saudi bid to host World Expo 2030

RIYADH: The President of the Republic of the Congo Denis Sassou Nguesso expressed his full support for Saudi Arabia’s bid to host the World Expo 2030 on Wednesday.

Nguesso expressed his country’s support during a meeting with Saudi Royal Court adviser Ahmed bin Abdulaziz Kattan who is visiting Brazzaville.

Kattan thanked the president and expressed the  Kingdom’s appreciation for the Congo’s support, which he said comes from the distinguished relations between the two countries.

The Royal Court adviser also conveyed a verbal message from King Salman to Nguesso regarding bilateral relations and ways to enhance joint cooperation during the meeting.

Kattan and Nguesso reviewed regional and international events of common interest during their meeting.
