AMMAN: A Jordanian delegation comprising 45 business owners from various sectors arrived in occupied Palestine on Sunday to boost bilateral commerce and investment, Jordan News Agency reported.
The visit, organized by the Palestinian-Jordanian Business Forum, includes participation in the Fourth Economic Empowerment Conference in Hebron, meetings with Palestinian economic actors and factory tours.
Nazmi Atma, chairman of the forum’s board of directors, said that the delegation’s visit aims to improve trade and raise investments between the two countries and capitalize on opportunities available.
Atma added that the delegation will hold meetings with business forums and associations from Hebron, Ramallah, and Nablus to discuss ways to increase trade between Jordan and Palestine and overcome challenges, particularly those posed by the Israeli occupation, to the flow of goods between the two sides.
